REROUTE ALERTS:

Beginning the morning of Friday, Aug. 8, through the morning of Monday, Aug. 11, the Desi Festive Nights will take place in Hamtramck. Reroutes are as follows:

52-Chene Southbound: From Jos. Campau, to left on Carpenter, to right on Conant, to right on Caniff, to left on Jos. Campau, to continue as normal.

52-Chene Northbound: From Jos. Campau, to right on Caniff, to left on Conant, to left on Carpenter, to right on Jos. Campau, to continue as normal.

On upcoming Saturdays -- Aug. 9, Aug. 17, and Aug. 25 -- eastbound Larned will be closed from Maron to Mt. Elliott for utility pole placement. Reroute is as follows:

67-Cadillac/Harper Eastbound: From Larned, to left on Maron, to right on Lafayette, to left on Mt. Elliott, to continue as normal.

67-Cadillac/Harper Westbound: No detours.

Beginning Monday, Aug. 11, through Saturday, Aug. 16, Harper will be closed for train tracks repair. Reroute is as follows:

67-Cadillac/Harper Eastbound: From Harper, to right on French, to left on Shoemaker, to left on Conner, to right on Harper, to continue as normal.

67-Cadillac/Harper Westbound: From Harper, to left on Conner, to right on Shoemaker, to right on French, to left on Harper, to continue as normal.

On Saturday, Aug. 23, Mack Alive will host its annual community parade and rally. Mack Avenue in both directions will be closed between St. Jean and East Grand Boulevard from approximately 8 a.m. to approximately 6 p.m. Reroutes are as follows:

5-Van Dyke Northbound: From Van Dyke, to left on Charlevoix, to right on East Grand Boulevard, to right on Forest, to left on Van Dyke, to continue as normal.

5-Van Dyke Southbound: From Van Dyke, to right on Warren, to left on East Grand Boulevard, to left on Vernor, to right on Van Dyke, to continue as normal.

31-Mack Eastbound: From Mack, to left on East Grand Boulevard, to right on Forest, to left on McClellan, to right on Warren, to right on Conner, to left on Mack, to continue as normal.

31-Mack Westbound: From Mack, to right on Conner, to left on Warren, to left on East Grand Boulevard, to right on Mack, to continue as normal.

67-Cadillac/Harper Eastbound: From Kercheval, to left on East Grand Boulevard, to right on Forest, to left on Cadillac, to continue as normal.

67-Cadillac/Harper Westbound: From Cadillac, to right on Warren, to left on East Grand Boulevard, to right on Kercheval.

Effective immediately, there is a reroute on 8-Warren at Grand River:

8-Warren eastbound: From Warren, to left on the Jeffries Service Drive, to right on Grand River, to left on Warren, to continue as normal.

8-Warren westbound: No detours.

Effective immediately, there is a detour on 19-Fort around the Bascule Bridge at Oakwood:

19-Fort westbound: From Fort St., to right on Miller, to left on Dix, to left on Oakwood, to right on Fort St., to continue as normal.

19-Fort eastbound: From Fort St., to left on Oakwood, to right on Dix, to left on Miller, to left on Fort St., to continue as normal.

11-Clairmount has a permanent route change, effective immediately:

Westbound: From Junction, to right on McGraw, to left on Livernois, to left on Buchanan, to right on 35th, to continue as normal.

Eastbound: From Junction, to left on Buchanan, to right on Livernois, to right on McGraw, to left on Junction, to continue as normal.

52-Chene now has a reroute:

Southbound: Left on Holbrook, to right on Conant, to right on Hamtramck, to continue as normal.

Northbound: Left on Conant, to left on Holbrook, to right on Jos. Campau, to continue as normal.

There is a detour on 68-Chalmers to bypass Chalmers just south of Seven Mile. Reroutes are as follows:

Southbound: Continue on Seven Mile, to right on Celestine, to right on Saratoga, to left on Chalmers, to continue as normal.

Northbound: North on Chalmers, to right on Saratoga, to left on Celestine, to Seven Mile, to continue as normal.

Eastbound 8-Warren first boarding will be at Riverside, at the cemetery, and no longer at the Shell gas station. Westbound 8-Warren has no detours.

Through December 21, 38-Plymouth has a slight detour just west of the Lodge. Reroutes are as follows:

38-Plymouth Westbound: From Calvert, to right on Woodrow Wilson, to left on Lawrence, to left on 14th, to right on Calvert, to continue as normal.

38-Plymouth Eastbound: From Calvert, to left on Rosa Parks, to right on Collingwood, to right on Woodrow Wilson, to left on Calvert, to continue as normal.

30-Livernois has a slight detour at Jefferson. Reroutes are as follows:

Northbound: From Jefferson, to left on Green, to right on Fort, to a left on Livernois, to continue as normal.

Southbound: From Livernois, to a right on Fort, to a left on Green, to a right on Jefferson, to continue as normal.

Eastbound 9-Jefferson has a slight detour at the easternmost turnaround, to take a left on Beaconsfield and a left on westbound Jefferson before the layover.

Westbound 8-Warren has a detour at the westernmost turnaround, a left on Waverly to lay over at the Red Lobster near Richardson.

Rosa Parks Transit Center will be closed every Friday from 6-7:30 a.m. for additional cleaning. This is in addition to its daily nightly closing between midnight and 4 a.m. for regular cleaning. RPTC re-opens at 4 a.m. daily for normal transit operations.

The Miller Road bridge will be closed until further notice. Reroutes are as follows:

1-Vernor Westbound: Right on Ferney, to right on Wyoming, to left on Michigan Ave., to continue as normal.

1-Vernor Eastbound: From Michigan Ave., to right on Wyoming, to continue as normal.

7-Seven Mile Westbound can no longer make a left turn from Lahser onto Grand River. Reroute is as follows:

Westbound: From Lahser, to left on McNichols, to right on Grand River, to continue into Meijer parking lot.

Eastbound: No detours.
