The victims were walking in the area of E. Lantz and Mitchell when a dark colored vehicle drove by. Someone in the vehicle began firing shots at the victims before fleeing the scene. One 13-year old male was killed, and another 13-year-old was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
