Sign Waiver and Adjustment Hearing

The Planning and Development Department conducts public hearings for waiver or adjustment of any dimensional or operational standard or requirement set forth in Chapter 4 of the signs regulations, except as expressly limited or prohibited (see FAQ).

Sign Waiver and Adjustment Hearings

PDD will be holding Sign Waiver and Adjustment Hearings on an as needed basis. Pursuant to the Michigan Open Meetings Act, as amended, these meeting will take place virtually over Zoom. The hearing dates, public notices, and public zoom information will be posted here as they are scheduled.

In order to proceed you must first receive an SWA Application Number from the PDD SWA administrator. Contact the PDD SWA administrator by email at [email protected]. Please note that the SWA payment is a non-refundable payment and all application payments are final.
