Transition to Clean Energy​

Almost 70% of our citywide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in 2018 came from the city-wide generation of electricity to power our buildings and activities. 

Clean energy, like renewables generated from solar and wind, does not produce greenhouse gas emissions or pollution. 

Generating our electricity from clean sources is critical to meet our GHG reduction goals, improve air quality, and lower energy costs for residents and businesses.
