Community Open House Midwest-Tireman, November 1, 2022

The City of Detroit held a community open house for the Midwest-Tireman Framework on November 1st, 2022, from 5:00 - 7:30 pm. Fifty neighbors and friends of the community attended the event. The open house had an informal setting with tables set up for storytelling sessions, identifying who’s who in the community, what the community expects from the neighborhood framework, and information on the construction of the Joe Louis Greenway that is underway along the west side of the neighborhood.

The Midwest-Tireman Framework team would like to thank the community for sharing their neighborhood experiences, stories, and ideas about the framework and the future of the community. 

We extend special thanks to Deanna Stewart and Carlton Ballard for hosting at Equity Alliance, community leaders, and our- consultants, Interboro and DCDC, for setting up this event.
