The City of Detroit’s Down Payment Assistance Program is funded through $17.2 million from the American Rescue Plan Act.
Detroit Down Payment Assistance Program is for:
Residents who have lived in the city of Detroit for the past 12 months OR lost a home due to property tax foreclosure within the City of Detroit between the period of 2010-2016.
Residents who have not owned a home for the past three years.
