DWSD EasyPay $10 Down Plan
The EasyPay Plan was developed by DWSD for Detroit residents that experience difficulty in paying past due water and sewerage bills. There are no income restrictions to qualify.

Making It Easy To Understand & Enroll
- ANY customer who has a past due balance can enroll in EasyPay with only $10 down.
- Remaining balance will be spread across 36 months.
- NO income requirements.
- Interest FREE.
- Protected from shut off and penalties, as long as you’re current.
How It Works
The customer makes a $10.00 down payment. The past due balance is divided across 36-months, plus the current monthly water, sewer and drainage bill.
How to Sign Up
To enroll in the new DWSD EasyPay Plan, call 313-267-8000 and say “Easy Pay” or enroll through the DWSD Customer Self-Service Portal.
