BOPC Meeting Information

The Board holds public meetings in compliance with the Michigan Open Meetings Act. See the 2024 Meeting Schedule.

• All regular meetings start at 3pm each Thursday, except second Thursdays.
• Community meetings are every second Thursday of the month and start at 6:30pm.
• Committee meetings are scheduled on an as needed basis.

All BOPC regular, community and committee meetings can be found on the City Events Calendar. Simply select the desired date and select "Board of Police Commissioners" in the "Government" menu.

Ways to Participate

Each BOPC meeting agenda includes oral communications, where the Commissioners will hear feedback from the public. There are several ways to sign up for oral communications. 

IN ADVANCE
Fill out this form up to one hour into the meeting.

IN PERSON
Fill out a comment card from the sign in desk and turn it into a BOPC staff member any time before the conclusion of oral communications. 

ON ZOOM
Use the "Raise Hand" feature on Zoom up to one hour into the meeting.

BY TELEPHONE
Press *9 up to one hour into the meeting.
