Summer Property Taxes are right around the corner. You should have received your bill the first week of July. Summer property taxes are due Thursday, August 31, 2023. If you have not received your tax bill or have questions about the process the City of Detroit Assessor Alvin Horhn is joining us to answer your questions. 

Was your home impacted during the summer flooding in 2021? Are you still dealing with the effects? Nancy Money, Executive Director of After the Storm and Chris Hicks, Director of Disaster Case Management for Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency are joining us to share resources for D1 residents. 

There was a tremendous response to the Dead, Dangerous, and Diseased Tree Program announced this past spring. Maybe, you would like to sign-up to have trees on your property inspected or you signed up and would like an update on if the trees on your property met the eligibility requirements. We'll be joined by representatives from the City of Detroit General Services Department - Blight Division with an update on the program.
